The Sound on the Other Side
Some trains run on a different schedule
They follow the sound. It is a train — but not one on any schedule. It runs on a loop, back and forth between two stations that do not appear on the map. The driver is a small robot with a cracked lens and a very determined expression. His name is Pip. He has been running this loop for three hundred cycles. He does not know why. He just knows the loop must be kept.
